Is the 2024 Audi Q8 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Audi Q8 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Audi positions it as a flagship SUV with a sportier, more luxurious character than the Q7, and the two-row layout gives it a more upscale, coupe-like feel. It also brings a strong standard equipment list, including navigation, a digital instrument panel, a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, and leather trim, so you get a well-equipped luxury SUV right away. For shoppers who want premium design and polished road manners more than maximum family utility, it fits that brief well.

37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Audi Q8 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Q8 is described as a refined, well-built luxury SUV with strong road manners and a polished powertrain setup. Its standard quattro all-wheel drive, eight-speed automatic transmission, and mild-hybrid assistance support smooth everyday driving, while the refreshed 2024 styling helps keep it current. The main tradeoffs are that it leans heavily on touchscreens and has poor fuel efficiency.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is less about basic competence and more about premium-SUV upkeep, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi Q8?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s service records, especially if you want to avoid surprises on a premium SUV. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the suspension, electronics, and interior condition, since those are the areas where luxury vehicles can become expensive if they’ve been neglected. Pay close attention to how the infotainment system works and whether the cabin shows unusual wear for the mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi Q8?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 678 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.85% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $52,057, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi Q8's resale value?

The current average of $52,074 sits slightly below last year's $64,973.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on how well the vehicle is maintained and how competitively it is priced when you list it. A clean history and strong condition should matter more when the market is already softer.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better pick if you want the refreshed look, strong owner satisfaction, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 offers a strong balance of condition, value, and desirability.
