Is the 2024 Audi Q8 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Audi Q8 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as Audi’s flagship SUV with a sportier, more luxurious character than the Q7 it is based on, and its two-row layout gives it a more coupe-like, high-end feel. You also get a strong standard equipment list, useful second-row space, and a polished road-focused setup that suits buyers who want premium style and refinement. The market also looks supportive, with 42.4% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Audi Q8 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Q8 is described as having excellent build quality and satisfying powertrains, which supports confidence in day-to-day ownership. Its standard quattro all-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission add to the sense of a well-engineered premium SUV. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a luxury model like this can bring higher repair and maintenance costs if wear items or complex systems need attention.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi Q8?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the car’s background and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims. Put a pre-purchase inspection at the top of your checklist, especially for a premium SUV with advanced equipment and a more complex chassis setup. Focus your condition check on the interior, electronics, suspension behavior, and signs of uneven wear so you can avoid a well-presented example with hidden issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi Q8?

This looks like a buyer’s market, with strong deal availability and a meaningful drop in prices versus last year.

• Deal availability: 42.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 682 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $51,706, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi Q8's resale value?

The current average of $51,749 sits slightly below last year's $64,915.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A clean, well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers who want a premium SUV with strong road manners and a distinctive design.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 42.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the refreshed look, strong owner satisfaction, and a market that currently favors buyers. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2024 gives you a compelling mix of value, inventory, and premium appeal.
