Is the 2024 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a three-row luxury SUV with a clean, understated design, comfortable front and second-row seating, and a layout that gives you family-hauling flexibility without giving up Audi’s premium feel. It also brings useful technology and a polished driving character, with the V6 version offering the stronger overall package for buyers who want more capability. With 43.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding attractive pricing.

Is the 2024 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q7’s reliability picture is helped by its well-rounded design and the fact that it has performed well in IIHS crash tests since 2017. The cabin and feature set also suggest a vehicle built to serve as a premium daily driver, especially if you choose the stronger V6. Even so, you should plan for the possibility of higher long-term ownership costs, especially if you want a used luxury SUV with premium-fuel requirements and above-average maintenance exposure.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific Q7 you’re considering has a clean service record. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at a higher-mileage example or one with the V6, since you’ll want to confirm overall condition and maintenance quality. Focus on wear items, electronics, and signs of deferred upkeep so you can avoid paying premium-SUV money for a neglected example.

What is the 2024 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $35,605 sits slightly below last year's $41,429.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain it well, you may be better positioned when it’s time to sell. The current market also shows that buyers still respond to this model’s premium appeal and practical three-row layout.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 43.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $43,338, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $35,605 average.
• It gets a mid-cycle refresh with updated styling and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2024 is the smarter starting point because it combines lower pricing with strong satisfaction and healthy inventory. If you’re willing to pay more for the refreshed model and its updates, the 2025 is the better secondary path.
