Is the 2024 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Audi Q5 earns a 5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a polished, well-equipped luxury SUV. The overview points to a premium feel, a roomy cabin, standard all-wheel drive, and strong everyday usability, so it fits well if you want comfort and practicality over flash. It also offers a refined package with few major weak spots, though it is not the most entertaining midsize SUV to drive and some versions are expensive. Is the 2024 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes the Q5 as a refined, easy-to-live-with SUV with few major weak spots, but it also notes that Audi’s brand record is only average and that some versions have had MMI infotainment issues. That means you should expect a premium ownership experience, while still paying close attention to electronics and overall condition on the used market. For long-term buyers, the main risk is less about outright flaws and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained well.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi Q5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm accident status, title history, and service records. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially for infotainment behavior, electronics, and signs of uneven wear. Focus on overall condition and maintenance quality, since premium features can be costly to sort out after purchase.

What is the 2024 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $30,951 sits slightly below last year's $36,744.

That price decline suggests the Q5 is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can help you enter ownership at a lower cost basis. For a future seller, that also means resale performance will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. If the market stays steady, a well-kept Q5 should remain appealing to shoppers who want a premium, practical SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,219, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,951 average.
• It offers calm comfort and a quiet cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $43,080, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $30,951 average.
• It brings a modern redesign with updated tech.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-equipped luxury SUV with strong market availability and a softer price than last year. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay more.
