What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the car’s background and verify that the title and service history line up. Put inspection priority on the condition of the technology and convenience features, since the A6 leans heavily on its electronics and infotainment. Also focus on overall wear, because a premium sedan like this can hide expensive issues if it has been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A6?

It looks like a buyer’s market for this model year, especially if you’re willing to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 551 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.03% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,583, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $29,733 sits slightly below last year's $35,837.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale performance will depend heavily on how well the car is maintained and presented when it’s time to trade or list it. A clean history, strong condition, and desirable equipment can help offset broader depreciation pressure.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better choice if you want the strongest mix of value, inventory depth, and buyer confidence in this generation. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a similar A6 offers a lower entry point, but the 2024 already looks appealing if you want a well-equipped used luxury sedan with broad market availability.
