The C40 comes standard with a 9-inch center touchscreen in a portrait orientation. It runs a Google-based infotainment system and includes standard Apple CarPlay. This system also comes with four years of complimentary Google Play store.
Moving up to the Plus trim adds fog lights, a power-adjustable front passenger’s seat, power-folding rear head restraints, a rear cargo organizer, a 360-degree parking monitor, and front and rear parking sensors.
The range-topping Ultimate trim includes 20-inch alloy wheels, headlight cleaners, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, and a Harmon Kardon premium stereo system.
The 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge features a 78-kWh battery pack supporting front and rear electric motors. Together, they make a combined 402 horsepower and 487 pound-feet of torque. The C40 Recharge has a range of 226 miles and can sprint from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Thanks to DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 37 minutes.
Standard driver-assistance features on the 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge include forward collision avoidance, oncoming lane collision mitigation, lane-departure warning, traffic-sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Volvo C40 Recharge is the ideal package deal which contains sporty looks, a luxurious interior, and over 400hp. The ride is smooth and the modern driving assist features are excellent.

Personally, i think the car is beautiful. I went with the sage green and its a really fun unique color that looks great in the day. The car has nice lines and I love the funky sportback look in the rear. Acceleration is smooth and it really flies when you push the peddle. Lots of great tech inside (the google/android system works really well). As far as negatives there are 3 that i consider shortcomings. You get very poor visibility out of the rear-view mirror due to the slope back glass in the trunk. There is no sun shade for the panoramic glass roof so if the suns out you can feel the heat. Finally, the range is only listed around 226 miles, so Ill be having to charge at least once a week if not more. If Volvo fixed 2 out of those 3 the car would be 5 stars all around. Other than that its a pretty great little EV.
