Used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla for Sale nearColumbus, OH

How much does the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla cost?

Prices are up 4.11% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 179 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla a good car?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is a strong choice if you want a hot hatch that prioritizes performance and standard all-wheel drive over subtlety, and its 3.7/5 user rating and 7.3/10 expert rating reflect that split. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Safety.

Toyota’s Gazoo Racing tuning gives it the kind of playful, aggressive character that fits buyers looking for something far removed from a normal Corolla. The trade-offs are clear: the design is potentially polarizing, and it is described as noisy, so it suits you best if you value excitement and capability more than quiet commuting.

With 38.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla reliable?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is presented as a safety-minded performance hatch, with standard driver-assistance features and a strong emphasis on everyday protection. Toyota includes a broad set of standard safety equipment, and the car’s performance hardware is paired with a manual transmission that uses rev-matching technology.

That setup suggests a car built to be engaging without feeling fragile, and the standard equipment list points to solid day-to-day dependability. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a performance hatch can see harder use than a typical commuter car, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report, verify service records, and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been driven hard or modified. Focus on tire wear, brake condition, and signs of track use or curb rash, since those can reveal how the car was treated.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Core trim is the entry point and gets the basic body-color roof and rear spoiler treatment, while the Circuit trim adds a carbon-fiber roof and the Morizo trim goes further with a lighter, more focused setup. The base trim also misses some of the more specialized hardware found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: Every GR Corolla uses a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual and standard all-wheel drive. Core and Circuit trims make 300 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, while the Morizo increases torque to 295 pound-feet.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense is not named here, but the standard safety suite includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure assist with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, road-sign assistance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear-view camera with parking aid lines. The car also includes ten airbags.
• Infotainment: The GR Corolla gets an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, dual-device Bluetooth connectivity, and a 12.3-inch driver information display. Over-the-air capability is not stated here.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel economy figures are not stated here.

Which 2023 Toyota GR Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is offered in 3 trim levels: Core, Circuit Edition, and Morizo Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Core: This is the entry point and the best fit if you want the GR Corolla experience at the lowest price. You still get the turbocharged engine, standard all-wheel drive, and the core hot-hatch formula, so it delivers the essential performance without the higher-trim extras.
• Circuit Edition: This is the best-value trim. It adds a carbon-fiber roof and front and rear limited-slip differentials, which make it the sweet spot for shoppers who want more capability without jumping all the way to the most expensive version.
• Morizo Edition: This is the most focused version, with more torque, closer gearing, better tires, and extra structural rigidity. It is the right pick if you want the most track-oriented setup and can live with the rear-seat delete.

Toyota also includes a broad standard safety suite across the lineup, so you do not need to move up trims to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop carefully and move quickly when you find a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 179 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 4.11% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 91.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,527, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $36,988 sits slightly above last year's $35,527.

That upward move suggests the GR Corolla has held demand well for a performance hatchback. If you buy one and keep it in good condition, you may benefit from that same demand when it is time to sell.

Because the current average is still within the year-round range, you are not looking at a runaway price spike, but you are also not seeing a steep discount. For a future seller, that points to a market that still values the car’s performance credentials and standard all-wheel drive.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla safe?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla earns a strong safety reputation through its standard equipment and expert safety score, even though it has not been crash-tested by the major U.S. agencies mentioned here.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota equips it with ten airbags and a standard suite of driver-assistance features that includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure assist with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, road-sign assistance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear-view camera with parking aid lines. Those features are standard despite the manual transmission, which is a notable plus for a performance car.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota GR Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 4.11% year-over-year.
• This year stands out for its all-new hot-hatch transformation, standard all-wheel drive, and strong expert safety and performance scores.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the right pick if you want the first-year GR Corolla experience and value its combination of performance and standard safety equipment. If you are more price-sensitive, keep shopping the market and focus on the best-condition example you can find, since the current inventory still gives you room to compare.
