Used 2023 Subaru BRZ for Sale nearHouston, TX

How much does the 2023 Subaru BRZ cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 178 listings available, which suggests you have a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Subaru BRZ a good car?

The 2023 Subaru BRZ stands out as a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive sports coupe that prioritizes balance and driver involvement over straight-line speed. It uses a more powerful 2.4-liter boxer engine rated at 228 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, and Subaru says the redesigned chassis brings a 50% increase in torsional stiffness, which helps explain the car’s crisp handling and playful feel.

For 2023, EyeSight became standard across the lineup, and the BRZ also carries a customizable 7-inch digital dashboard, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, a rear-view camera, and SiriusXM satellite radio. That makes it a more modern cabin than its back-to-basics reputation might suggest, while still keeping the focus on driving enjoyment.

The main tradeoff is that the BRZ remains a small, purpose-built coupe, so its appeal is strongest if you want a fun, affordable sports car with a manual transmission available and a well-balanced chassis rather than one that wins on practicality or brute force. 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Subaru BRZ reliable?

The 2023 Subaru BRZ is presented as a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive sports coupe with a modernized cabin and standard driver-assistance equipment, which supports a straightforward ownership experience for a performance car. Its focus on balance and driver involvement also suggests a simpler mission than many higher-strung sports cars.

Because it is a small, purpose-built coupe, long-term ownership risk is more about living with its limited practicality and performance-oriented use than about everyday family-car duties.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Subaru BRZ?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on signs of prior damage, uneven wear, and any evidence that the car was driven hard. Since this is a sports coupe, condition matters a lot, so pay close attention to the tires, brakes, suspension feel, and how cleanly the car shifts and tracks on a test drive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Subaru BRZ?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 178 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,274, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Subaru BRZ's resale value?

The current average of $27,651 sits slightly below last year's $27,680.

That small decline suggests the BRZ has been holding its value fairly steadily rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern points to a market that is stable but not rapidly appreciating.

If you keep the car in clean condition and avoid accident history, you should be in a better position to preserve value when it’s time to sell. The current pricing also suggests buyers are still willing to pay for a well-kept example, especially if it sits near the lower end of the market range.

Should I buy a 2023 Subaru BRZ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,434, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $27,651 average.
• It offers a fun, value-focused redesign with a more powerful engine.

The bottom line: Buy the 2023 if you want the steadier market position and a solid mix of inventory quality and deal availability. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2022 is the better secondary path because it comes in lower on price while keeping the BRZ’s core appeal intact.
