Used 2023 Subaru BRZ for Sale near Arizona

How much does the 2023 Subaru BRZ cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 178 listings available, which gives you a workable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Subaru BRZ a good car?

The 2023 Subaru BRZ stands out as a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive sports coupe that prioritizes balance and driver involvement over straight-line speed. It uses a more powerful 2.4-liter boxer engine rated at 228 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, and it was offered with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. Subaru also claimed a 50% increase in torsional stiffness from the redesigned chassis, which helps explain why the BRZ is known for crisp handling and a playful feel.

For 2023, EyeSight became standard across the BRZ lineup with both the manual and automatic transmission options. The car also carried over a customizable 7-inch digital dashboard, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, a rear-view camera, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Those features give the BRZ a more modern cabin than its back-to-basics reputation might suggest, while still keeping the car focused on driving enjoyment.

The main tradeoff is that the BRZ remains a small, purpose-built coupe. Its appeal is strongest for buyers who want a fun, affordable sports car with a manual transmission available and a well-balanced chassis, not one that wins on practicality or brute force.

With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

For a used buyer, the long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about whether the car has been driven hard, modified, or poorly maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Subaru BRZ?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a sports coupe can hide hard use even when it looks clean on paper. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on suspension wear, tire condition, brake life, and signs of track or modification use. Pay close attention to overall condition, since the best examples are usually the ones that have been maintained consistently and kept close to stock.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Subaru BRZ?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 178 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,272, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Subaru BRZ's resale value?

The current average of $27,627 sits slightly above last year's $27,534.

That small increase suggests the BRZ has held its value well in the near term. If you buy carefully and keep the car in good condition, you should have a reasonable chance of recovering a solid share of your purchase price later. The steady pricing also points to a market that rewards clean, well-kept examples more than bargain-basement mileage alone.

Should I buy a 2023 Subaru BRZ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,197, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $27,627 average.
• It offers a fun, value-focused redesign with a clear sports-car identity.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price stability, inventory, and clean examples. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2022 is the better secondary path because it undercuts the 2023 average while keeping the BRZ’s core driving character intact.
