The current average of $28,106 sits slightly below last year's $30,434.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to resell later, a lower purchase price can reduce your exposure to depreciation, especially if the model continues to hold steady demand. Strong condition and clean history will matter most when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 RAM ProMaster or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the primary year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the benefits of the 2023’s current market position.
