Used 2023 Porsche Taycan for Sale nearNew York, NY

How much does the 2023 Porsche Taycan cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 522 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Porsche Taycan a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating, the 2023 Porsche Taycan lands as a strong choice if you want Porsche character in an EV. The overview points to a car that delivers the brand’s familiar performance feel, while also offering more versatility and affordability than many shoppers might expect.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

Its sleek styling and strong build quality are clear advantages, and the multiple body styles give it broader appeal than a typical performance sedan. The main trade-off is range, which is described as merely average, so it fits you best if driving enjoyment matters more than long-distance efficiency.

Cons: Range is merely average.

Only 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market looks selective rather than deeply discounted.

Is the 2023 Porsche Taycan reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The Taycan’s overview emphasizes strong build quality, and the expert evaluation reinforces that impression by describing it as a better-built car with a comfortable ride and a less distracting infotainment system than some rivals.

The performance write-up also points to a composed, drama-free driving experience, with instant power delivery and confident handling that feels engineered rather than improvised. On the ownership side, the charging system includes battery preconditioning to help you get the maximum charge rate without waiting, which is a useful convenience for regular use.

If you buy used, the main long-term risk is that an EV’s battery and charging behavior can vary with age and use, so you should pay close attention to how the car has been charged and how it performs on a full drive cycle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche Taycan?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance EV where charging habits, software behavior, and wear patterns can matter. Focus on overall condition, charging performance, and whether the car has been used in a way that matches your driving needs.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Taycan’s body styles and cabin presentation are part of its appeal, and the base car is lighter on extras than higher-spec versions. If you want more convenience and a richer feature set, pay close attention to how the car is equipped rather than assuming every Taycan feels the same.
• Powertrain: The base Taycan sedan uses a single rear electric motor, while the Taycan 4 adds a front motor for all-wheel drive. Output varies by configuration, and the larger battery option can increase both power and range.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and front and rear parking sensors. Blind-spot monitors, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, and remote parking are tied to optional packages.
• Infotainment: The Taycan has a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a native navigation system, wireless charging, and a curved digital instrument panel. The screen is on the small side and sits low enough that it can take some getting used to.
• Range & charging: The base sedan is estimated at 208 miles of range, and the larger battery can raise that to 242 miles. DC fast charging is standard and can reach up to 270 kW, with charging from five percent to 80 percent in as little as 23 minutes. Charging on a 220-volt station takes 10.5 hours from empty to full.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, ask how often the car was charged at home versus on DC fast chargers, and confirm how much battery warranty coverage remains. A clean charging history and consistent range are more important than a single advertised number.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Taycan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting huge discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 522 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $74,595, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Taycan's resale value?

The current average of $77,674 sits slightly below last year's $78,067.

That small decline suggests the Taycan’s used-market pricing has been stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you plan to resell later. A steady price trend can make it easier to estimate future value because the market is not showing signs of a sharp drop or a sudden spike.

For you, that means the Taycan looks like a model whose value is being supported by consistent demand rather than short-term hype. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should have a reasonable path to preserving value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

The Taycan has not published crash-test results from NHTSA or IIHS, so there is no official U.S. crash-test lead to cite here.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features on all Taycans include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and front and rear parking sensors. The optional Premium package adds blind-spot monitors and a surround-view camera system, while the Technology package adds adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, and remote parking. Porsche InnoDrive is also available and combines adaptive cruise control with lane-keep assist for hands-on semi-automated driving.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Taycan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Not only does the 2023 Porsche Taycan perform as any new car from Porsche should, but it's also more versatile and affordable than you might think.

The bottom line: If you want the Taycan’s Porsche-first driving feel and a used price that has stayed relatively steady, the 2023 is a solid place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can keep shopping the market for a lower-mileage or better-equipped example, but the 2023 already gives you the core strengths that make the Taycan appealing.
