You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the truck closely for signs of prior damage, hard towing, or uneven wear. A careful pre-purchase inspection matters most if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one priced near the low end of the market.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.09% compared with last year.

What is the 2023 Nissan Titan's resale value?

That softer pricing suggests the Titan is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can matter if you plan to trade in or resell within a few years. A lower entry price can help you buy well now, but it also means future resale gains may be limited unless you choose a clean, well-kept example. Strong condition and documented maintenance will matter more than ever if you want to protect value later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.43/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Nissan Titan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $28,826, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $35,658 average.
• The 2022 offers a quieter cabin and a more polished feel.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market selection and are comfortable paying more for a newer model year, the 2023 is the better primary target. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
