Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale near Texas

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 9.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,497 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the expert rating is 6.3/10.

The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

The 2023 GLC fits you well if you want a comfortable, refined small luxury SUV with premium interior materials and a polished cabin. It is more about evolution than flash, and the conservative redesign keeps the focus on a traditional luxury feel rather than sporty drama.

The trade-offs are clear: it does not offer much cargo space, and it is not especially exciting to drive. Even so, the market shows 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 GLC is presented as a refined, comfort-first luxury SUV, and the expert review emphasizes a smooth ride, a nearly silent cabin, and a polished overall package. The powertrain is described as pleasantly smooth and almost linear, which supports the impression of an easygoing daily driver.

The maintenance angle is also favorable for shoppers who value ownership simplicity, since the model is positioned around efficiency and refinement rather than high-strung performance. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium SUV with lots of technology can become more expensive to keep in top shape if prior maintenance was neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean title percentage does not replace a full records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and overall condition, since this model leans heavily on premium tech and comfort equipment. Pay close attention to whether the vehicle matches the equipment level you expect, especially if you want more than the standard safety and convenience setup.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard GLC 300 is the redesigned model, while the Coupe models are carryovers from the previous generation. The cabin is the big step forward, with a large vertical infotainment touchscreen, a tablet-like instrument panel, excellent materials quality, and a cleaner cockpit design than some rivals. The Coupe’s older interior still has usability advantages, but the standard GLC 300 is the more modern choice.
• Powertrain: The standard setup uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and 4Matic all-wheel drive is available. The powertrain is smooth and confident for highway merging and passing, though it is not as lively as the BMW X3’s four-cylinder setup.
• Safety package: Standard safety features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. The optional Driver Assistance package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, and emergency stop assist. The Coupe comes standard with cross-traffic alerts and the surround-view camera, while the package remains otherwise identical.
• Infotainment: The new layout centers on an 11.9-inch touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. The MBUX system has strong voice recognition, and the available Burmester 3D Surround Sound system is a plus if audio quality matters to you.
• Fuel efficiency: The rear-wheel-drive model is estimated at 25 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 28 mpg combined. The 4Matic version drops to 23 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined.

Which 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 1 trim level: GLC 300.

Here's the short version:

The GLC 300 is the trim to focus on if you want the redesigned cabin, the smooth turbocharged mild-hybrid powertrain, and the core luxury experience that defines this model year. It is the best-value choice because it delivers the full new-generation GLC formula without pushing you into higher-cost variants that are not part of this year’s standard lineup.

The standard safety package is solid, but if you want adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping support, you should look for a vehicle equipped with the optional Driver Assistance package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,497 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,183, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $37,183 sits slightly below last year's $41,163.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if values continue to normalize. The current range still shows meaningful demand, though, especially for a luxury SUV with strong comfort and efficiency credentials.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The previous GLC on which the returning Coupe is based received a five-out-of-five star rating from NHTSA for overall, frontal, and side crash protection. It also received top scores from the IIHS and was named a Top Safety Pick, its second-highest honor.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features for the new GLC 300 include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. The optional Driver Assistance package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, and emergency stop assist. The Coupe comes standard with cross-traffic alerts and the surround-view camera but otherwise uses the same available Driver Assistance package.

Crash-test results for the new 2023 GLC 300 are not yet available from either NHTSA or IIHS, so you should lean on the standard equipment list and the strong results from the previous-generation model when evaluating safety.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings a conservative redesign with a more premium cabin and a refined, comfort-first character.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $41,503, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $37,183 average.
• It adds a broader lineup, including AMG variants returning to the GLC 300.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2023 is the smarter buy because it delivers the redesigned GLC experience at a lower average price. If you are willing to spend more for a broader lineup and newer availability, the 2024 is the path to consider.
