How much does the 2023 MINI Countryman cost?

Is the 2023 MINI Countryman a good car?

Yes — 5/5. The 2023 MINI Countryman blends MINI’s familiar retro personality with the practicality of a small SUV, while still offering more rear passenger space and cargo capacity than MINI’s smaller vehicles. It also stands out for its charm, customizability, and premium image, which help it feel more distinctive than many conventional rivals. With 37.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 MINI Countryman reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 MINI Countryman’s appeal comes from its sporty demeanor, quirky styling, and practical small-SUV packaging. Its distinctive character and broad range of powertrain choices can make it a satisfying ownership experience if you value personality as much as utility. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a more complex, feature-rich setup can be less forgiving if prior maintenance was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 MINI Countryman?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or neglected maintenance. Pay extra attention to the ride quality, interior controls, and overall condition, since the Countryman’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been kept. A careful test drive and a pre-purchase inspection can help you separate a well-cared-for example from one that may need expensive catch-up work.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 MINI Countryman?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 491 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,022, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 MINI Countryman's resale value?

The current average of $27,026 sits slightly below last year's $28,872.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you better entry pricing now, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if depreciation continues at a similar pace. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you can help protect value when it’s time to sell. The model’s distinctive appeal can support demand, especially among shoppers who want something less conventional.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 MINI Countryman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $28,907, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $27,026 average.
• The 2024 adds a standard navigation system on the Signature trim.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2023 is the stronger starting point because it combines lower pricing with solid deal availability. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model year and a bit more equipment, the 2024 is worth a look. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2023 is the more compelling buy.
