Is the 2023 Lexus LX a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Lexus LX earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a full-size body-on-frame SUV that blends serious off-road hardware with the kind of luxury buyers expect from Lexus, while also being described as smooth and quiet on the road. Is the 2023 Lexus LX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Lexus LX is described as having a strong reputation for real off-road capability and reliability, which supports confidence for used buyers. Its standard hardware and Lexus-branded durability focus make it appealing if you want a luxury SUV that is built for more than just pavement. For long-term ownership, you should still expect higher running costs than a typical SUV, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lexus LX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the listing’s background and verify that the title and service records line up. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the SUV has seen off-road use or higher-mileage commuting. Focus on overall condition, electronics, suspension behavior, and signs of wear that could affect a luxury SUV’s ownership costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lexus LX?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 188 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $84,269, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lexus LX's resale value?

The current average of $84,360 sits slightly below last year's $90,700.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, the softer current pricing means resale upside may depend more on condition, mileage, and maintenance than on broad market appreciation. Because this model year still carries strong buyer appeal, a clean history and well-kept example should remain easier to move than a neglected one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Lexus LX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:
