Used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport for Sale nearTacoma, WA

How much does the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 14.00% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,230 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

It is designed to feel sportier than a standard Range Rover in how it looks, how it sits, and how it drives, and it delivers on the styling side with a luxurious, high-tech appearance. It also brings strong off-road capability, but the on-road experience does not fully match the sporty promise.

The trade-offs are clear: handling is underwhelming, the back seat is cramped, and the technology can be frustrating. If you want a luxury SUV that leans hard into style and off-road confidence rather than sharp pavement dynamics, this one fits that use case well.

39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Range Rover Sport is built around refinement, comfort, and capability, and its standard adaptive damping air suspension helps it stay composed over rough surfaces. It also uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with mild-hybrid technology, and the powertrain is described as providing plenty of oomph.

The model’s cost-effectiveness notes also point to an over-the-air update path, which can help improve usability over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the vehicle’s complexity and premium positioning can make problems more expensive to live with if you buy a poorly maintained example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a vehicle with this much technology and capability. Focus on overall condition, signs of hard use, and whether the cabin and electronics feel well cared for.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes SE P360, SE Dynamic P400, and Autobiography P440e. The SE Dynamic P400 adds more equipment than the SE P360, while the Autobiography P440e stands apart with its plug-in hybrid setup and higher-end positioning.
• Powertrain: The turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder comes in different states of tune, and the plug-in hybrid is available with estimated electric driving range. If you want the strongest efficiency story, the PHEV is the standout.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, a driver monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system with ClearSight Ground View. Wade Sensing is standard, too.
• Infotainment: Every Range Rover Sport has a 13.7-inch digital instrumentation display and a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with Amazon Alexa compatibility and an Online Pack with connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: The P400 drivetrain should get 21 mpg in combined driving, and the evaluation route returned 22.3 mpg on average. The plug-in hybrid is described as supplying an estimated 51 miles of electric driving range.

Which 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport trim should I buy?

The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is offered in 3 trim levels: SE P360, SE Dynamic P400, and Autobiography P440e.

Here's the short version:

• SE P360: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Range Rover Sport’s core style, luxury feel, and off-road capability without pushing too far up the price ladder. It makes sense if you want the nameplate and the design without chasing extra equipment.
• SE Dynamic P400: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds more power and a richer equipment mix while staying closer to the heart of the lineup. If you want the most balanced version of the SUV’s style, performance, and everyday usability, this is the trim to target.
• Autobiography P440e: Choose this if you want the plug-in hybrid setup and the most advanced version of the lineup. It suits you best if electric driving range and higher-end positioning matter more than keeping the purchase price in check.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing softness to reward careful shopping.

• Deal availability: 39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,230 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.00% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,314, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $61,314 sits slightly below last year's $71,293.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation curve.

The model’s appeal still helps support demand, especially for shoppers who want style and off-road ability in one package. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport safe?

The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Land Rover installs numerous advanced driving assistance systems in the Range Rover Sport. The list includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist.

In addition, the SUV has automatic high-beam headlights, a driver monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system with Land Rover’s ClearSight Ground View camera. Wade Sensing is standard, too, and it can help you with water crossings while driving off-road.

Our evaluation found the adaptive cruise control slow to respond when traffic ahead cleared the lane, and the steering assist technology was dissatisfactory, especially on freeway curves and bends. That means you should treat the semi-automated driving aids as helpful support, not something you can fully trust to do the work for you.

Should I buy a 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines stylish design, strong off-road capability, and a powerful engine, while still feeling less convincing on pavement than rivals.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the right pick if you want the Range Rover Sport’s style and off-road talent at a softer used price than new. If you are more price-sensitive and care less about the badge and capability, you may want to compare it carefully against other luxury SUVs before committing.
