Used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque for Sale near Washington, DC

Over a decade ago, Land Rover created the Range Rover Evoque to capitalize on its luxury image and status. Though it’s now in its second generation, the SUV hasn’t changed much in appearance during its time on the market. That said, it’s still one of the most stylish and unique looking vehicles in its class, and, surprisingly, it retains much of the off-road capability and ruggedness that made its parent company a household name. The Evoque enters 2023 mostly unchanged. Land Rover added Amazon Alexa capability and made voice controls standard across the range, but the automaker left the Evoque’s off-road goodies in place. The base Evoque P250 comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 246 horsepower. The Evoque P300 also comes with a 2.0-liter turbo-four, but it’s assisted by a 48-volt hybrid system and produces 296 horsepower total. Both engines come mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Though small and luxurious, the Evoque offers plenty of off-road gear to satisfy the Land Rover faithful. The SUV comes standard with a terrain response system, hill launch assist, brake-based torque vectoring, hill descent control, roll stability control, and a passive suspension system. Though it lacks the sophisticated air suspension systems of its larger and more expensive Land Rover brethren, the Evoque’s adjustable off-road driving modes and torque vectoring help it conquer terrain that appears way outside of its capabilities. One small downside to that capability is that the Evoque does not feel as sporty or responsive as its rivals. It feels solid and bulky as an off-roader should, leaving the “sport” to SUVs like the BMW X1, Audi Q3, and others. On the flipside, the Land Rover is as luxurious and comfortable as any of its competitors, and despite the off-road gear, it’s legitimately cushy on-road. A 10-inch touchscreen comes standard, running Land Rover’s latest Pivi Pro infotainment software. The interface is smooth and intuitive, and most tasks can be accomplished with a tap or two of the touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with SiriusXM radio, voice controls, connected apps, and a wireless smartphone charger with signal booster. Due to their relatively low volume and high cost, Land Rover’s vehicles aren’t always crash tested, but the automaker equips a strong list of standard safety tech to every model. Front and rear parking sensors, lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, driver alertness monitoring, traffic sign recognition with adaptive speed limiting, a rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control are all standard. The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is on sale now. The base S trim starts at $46,400 before taxes, registration, and destination fees are applied. The R-Dynamic S starts at $48,000, the SE at $51,000, the R-Dynamic SE at $52,600, and the HST at $57,000.
