The current average of $85,358 sits slightly below last year's $99,730.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale performance will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones, especially in a premium segment where buyers expect strong presentation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $54,065, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $85,358 average.
• It offers a refined redesign with improved technology.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of satisfaction, inventory, and pricing momentum. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the better value-oriented path and still delivers the core Range Rover appeal.
