Is the 2023 Kia Stinger a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2023 Kia Stinger stands out as a sporty, premium-minded liftback that aims at German performance sedans while adding rear-wheel-drive performance, turbocharged powertrains, upscale features, and more practicality than a traditional sedan shape. That mix makes it appealing if you want style and driving enjoyment without giving up everyday usefulness. 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Kia Stinger reliable?

For 2023, the Stinger benefits from the model’s later-year reputation for better reliability, and the buying guide notes that the final model year is considered the best year by JD Power’s Quality and Reliability score. It also carries strong safety credentials, with top crash-test results cited in the overview. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure any example you consider has been properly maintained and checked for recall-related concerns.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia Stinger?

At 74.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can screen for accidents, title issues, and ownership patterns before you get too far into the process. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, repair quality, and whether the car has been maintained consistently, since those factors matter more when a meaningful share of the market has prior damage history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia Stinger?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 375 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.23% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,001, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia Stinger's resale value?

The current average of $33,420 sits slightly below last year's $34,182.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy a well-kept example and avoid overpaying, since resale value is strongest when your starting price is disciplined. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia Stinger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $27,892, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $33,420 average.
• It offers a mild refresh with more power and updated design touches.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger year-specific value proposition and are comfortable shopping carefully within a mixed-condition market. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better secondary path because it delivers similar appeal at a lower entry price.
