How much does the 2023 Kia Seltos cost?

Is the 2023 Kia Seltos a good car?

Yes — 4.7/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the 2023 Seltos backs that up with a roomy cabin, intuitive controls, and a refined driving character. It was designed to feel larger than its footprint, and its practical packaging plus generous passenger and cargo space make it especially appealing if you want a compact SUV that is easy to live with. Its premium-leaning interior and useful space help it stand out in a crowded segment, even though it still has some rough edges. 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Kia Seltos reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Seltos emphasizes practical packaging, intuitive controls, and a refined chassis, which are all traits that tend to support dependable everyday use. It also gained acoustic windshield glass across the range for 2023, a change aimed at reducing wind noise and improving day-to-day comfort. Even so, you should pay close attention to cabin noise, transmission behavior, and overall condition when shopping used. For long-term ownership, the biggest risk is buying a neglected example with wear that masks the model’s otherwise appealing fundamentals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia Seltos?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate and confirm there are no hidden collision or title issues. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the transmission, cabin noise levels, and interior wear, since those are the kinds of issues that can affect your ownership experience most. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records so you can separate a well-kept Seltos from one that may have been driven hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia Seltos?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,481 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,466, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia Seltos's resale value?

The current average of $19,466 sits slightly below last year's $21,054.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Seltos easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you purchase at a strong price and keep the vehicle in clean condition, you can help protect your resale position. The model’s practical cabin and broad appeal should continue to support demand, especially among shoppers looking for a compact SUV with useful space.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
