Used 2023 Kia Seltos for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2023 Kia Seltos cost?

Prices have softened 7.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,494 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Kia Seltos a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2023 Seltos backs that up with a roomy cabin, generous passenger and cargo space, intuitive controls, and a refined driving character. It was designed to bridge the gap between Kia’s Soul and Sportage, so you get a compact SUV that feels more substantial than its footprint suggests. Its practical packaging and premium-leaning interior make it especially appealing if you want useful space without moving up to a larger SUV. 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Kia Seltos reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2023 Seltos also benefits from a practical, well-packaged cabin and a refined chassis, which are the kinds of traits that usually make day-to-day ownership easier. Its drawbacks include a noisy cabin, a clunky dual-clutch transmission, and a base engine that feels underpowered, so you should pay close attention to how the vehicle drives and sounds on a test drive. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a poorly maintained example that amplifies those drivability and noise issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia Seltos?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on transmission behavior, cabin noise, and overall mechanical smoothness. Because the Seltos is praised for its practical packaging and refined chassis, any example that feels rough, noisy, or inconsistent deserves extra scrutiny. Also pay close attention to interior condition and how well the controls and tech work, since those are part of the model’s appeal.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia Seltos?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,494 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,566, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia Seltos's resale value?

The current average of $19,566 sits slightly below last year's $21,050.

That softer pricing suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can work against short-term resale gains if you buy at the wrong price. On the other hand, the Seltos still has clear appeal thanks to its roomy cabin, practical packaging, and refined character, which can help it stay attractive to future shoppers. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in good condition, you should be in a better position when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia Seltos or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $17,653, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $19,566 average.
• It adds more feature availability and value-focused appeal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,742, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $19,566 average.
• It brings refreshed styling and updated technology.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want a balanced mix of price, satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the smarter value play; if you want newer styling and tech, the 2024 is the better upgrade path.
