How much does the 2023 Kia K5 cost?

Prices have softened 6.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,452 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2023 Kia K5 a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Kia K5 earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid shopper satisfaction. Drivers most often praise its great value, advanced technology, wireless charging, and smooth ride, while also noting its distinctive styling and everyday usability. The K5’s mix of practical trunk space, modern cabin feel, and available all-wheel drive makes it especially appealing if you want a midsize sedan that feels a little more upscale and sporty than average. With 34.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Kia K5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a car that many owners find dependable in daily use, with praise centered on its smooth ride and value. That said, some shoppers mention concerns about ride quality, storage space, and fuel economy, so it’s smart to focus on how the car has been maintained and whether it matches your expectations for long-term ownership. For used buyers, the main risk is less about broad reliability and more about finding a well-kept example that hasn’t been worn down by hard use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia K5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report to confirm accident status, title history, and service records. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the suspension, tires, brakes, and interior condition, since ride quality and cabin wear matter a lot in a used sedan. It’s also worth checking that the technology features work properly, especially if you want the convenience items that help define this model year.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia K5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,452 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 79.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,530, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia K5's resale value?

The current average of $22,530 sits slightly below last year's $24,107.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the softer trend means resale value may be more sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment than it would be in a hotter market. If you keep the car clean, well maintained, and accident-free, you’ll be in a stronger position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia K5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,849, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,530 average.
• It offers a strong value proposition with comfortable, stylish family-sedan appeal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $24,886, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,530 average.
• It adds standard heated seats on the GT-Line.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of value, features, and market availability. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the smarter price-sensitive alternative, while the 2024 makes sense only if you want to pay more for a newer model-year setup.
