How much does the 2023 Kia K5 cost?

Prices have softened 6.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,376 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2023 Kia K5 a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Kia K5 earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers most often praise its great value, advanced technology, and smooth ride. The K5 also fits well if you want a stylish midsize sedan with everyday practicality, including a roomy trunk and a well-equipped cabin. With 36.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Kia K5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a car that many owners find dependable in daily use, with value and technology standing out as recurring strengths. The same feedback also suggests some buyers have concerns about ride quality and fuel economy, so your best long-term bet is a well-maintained example with a clean history and no signs of neglect. For used buyers, that means reliability risk is manageable, but condition and maintenance records matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia K5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm the car’s condition with a close inspection of the exterior, interior, and tires. Pay extra attention to signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or anything that suggests the car has had a harder life than the listing implies. If possible, test the features you care about most so you can make sure everything works as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia K5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,376 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 76.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,151, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia K5's resale value?

The current average of $22,151 sits slightly below last year's $23,815.

That price movement suggests the K5 has softened enough to help you buy more affordably today, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. For a seller, that can translate into a narrower window for strong returns unless the car is especially clean, well-equipped, and priced competitively. Strong demand for value-oriented sedans can still help, but condition will matter a lot.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia K5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,657, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,151 average.
• It offers a redesigned look and strong value.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $24,580, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,151 average.
• It adds standard turbocharging and more everyday appeal for GT-Line shoppers.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want a balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the smarter value play; if you want a newer-feeling setup and can pay more, the 2024 is worth a look.
