How much does the 2023 Kia K5 cost?

Prices have softened 7.30% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,393 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2023 Kia K5 a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Kia K5 earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid overall satisfaction. Drivers most often praise its great value, advanced technology, and smooth ride, while the overview also highlights its distinctive styling and practical everyday usability. That makes it a strong fit if you want a midsize sedan that blends style, features, and usefulness. With 33.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Kia K5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe the K5 as dependable in the ways that matter most for daily use, especially when it comes to its smooth ride and overall value. The user feedback also points to a car that feels well-equipped and easy to live with over time. For used buyers, that suggests manageable long-term ownership risk as long as you verify condition and maintenance history carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia K5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for prior damage, uneven wear, and signs of poor repairs. Pay close attention to overall condition, since the K5’s value proposition depends on getting the features and comfort you expect without hidden issues. It also helps to compare trim and equipment carefully so you know whether the listing matches the version you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia K5?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop patiently, but the better listings may still move quickly.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,393 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.30% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,198, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia K5's resale value?

The current average of $22,198 sits slightly below last year's $23,946.

That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably now, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market holds up. If prices stay near current levels, your depreciation may be more manageable than it would be after a stronger run-up. Strong demand for a stylish, well-equipped midsize sedan can also help support used values over time.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia K5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,671, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,198 average.
• It adds redesigned branding and useful convenience upgrades.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $24,661, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,198 average.
• It adds standard heated seats on the GT-Line and broader standard turbo power.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2023 if you want the best balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your budget is tighter, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want newer features and can spend more, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
