What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia EV6?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and confirm the vehicle’s condition before you buy, even when the market looks clean. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior, and charging-related equipment so you can spot any signs of wear or prior damage. Because the EV6 is a compact electric crossover, it also makes sense to focus on whether the cargo area and visibility work for your daily needs.

What is the 2023 Kia EV6's resale value?

The current average of $26,821 sits slightly below last year's $29,155.

That decline suggests the EV6 has become more affordable in the used market, which can help you buy in at a better price today. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and trim level than it would be in a tighter market. Strong demand can still support pricing, especially for well-kept examples that stand out from the pack.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.82/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia EV6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 43.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.82/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,597, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $26,821 average.
• It offers a fresh, unusual take on Kia’s EV lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall shopping environment, the 2023 is the better primary target because it combines solid inventory, strong owner satisfaction, and a favorable price trend. If your main goal is to spend less, the 2022 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and can live with its older-year tradeoffs.
