You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has seen off-road use. What is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe's resale value?

The current average of $26,840 sits slightly below last year's $32,536.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you purchase near the lower end of the current range, you may have less downside than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average. Strong shopper interest can also help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.1/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 41.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.1/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better primary target if you want the strongest mix of price relief, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction.
