How much does the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 7.66% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,091 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2023 Grand Cherokee blends mainstream usability with the kind of capability that has long defined the nameplate, while also offering a more premium feel than many mainstream SUVs. It gives you a broad trim range, from basic and affordable to luxurious and pricey, so you can shop for the balance of comfort, features, and budget that fits your needs. 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Grand Cherokee is built around Jeep’s familiar formula of capability and premium touches, and the overview points to a vehicle that can feel upscale without losing its rugged character. It also offers multiple four-wheel-drive setups and an available height-adjustable air suspension, which reinforces its versatility. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that upkeep can be almost as high as luxury-brand rivals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a careful inspection of the vehicle’s condition and equipment. Pay close attention to whether the listing has the features you expect, since some Grand Cherokees lack equipment many buyers assume is standard. It also makes sense to compare trim levels closely, because the model ranges from fairly basic versions to much more luxurious ones.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,091 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,563, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $29,563 sits slightly below last year's $32,015.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you better entry pricing today, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if depreciation continues at a similar pace. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of protecting value by choosing a desirable trim and keeping the vehicle in strong condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,803, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,563 average.
• It offers a redesigned package with upgraded technology and sophistication.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and the lower price matters more than the newer-year market position.
