How much does the 2023 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 4.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 663 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 INFINITI Q50 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 8/10.

The Q50’s appeal is rooted in its style and performance, and it still stands out in a market crowded with crossovers and SUVs. It offers power and style, and its design remains one of its clearest strengths. You also get easy-to-use technology, which helps the car feel approachable even though its overall presentation is not especially modern.

The trade-offs are clear: the Q50’s fuel economy is poor, its technology is outdated, and it is viewed as poor value for money. It also lacks some of the attractive upgrades found in Audi and BMW models, so it makes the most sense if you care more about looks and driving character than the latest features.

32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q50’s long-running formula and straightforward setup support its reputation as a familiar, easy-to-live-with luxury sedan. Its performance hardware is a highlight, with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 and a seven-speed automatic transmission that shifts quickly and smoothly. The cabin tech is also easy to use, even if the hardware itself feels dated.

The cost side is less reassuring, though, because the Q50’s poor fuel economy can add up over time, especially since it requires premium fuel. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the car’s age and efficiency drawbacks may make it more expensive to live with than its purchase price suggests.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 INFINITI Q50?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because condition can vary widely from one used luxury sedan to another. Focus on how the cabin electronics, steering feel, and overall wear present in person, since the Q50’s age shows up most clearly in its interior and tech execution.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Luxe trim is the value play because it comes well equipped for the money, while higher trims add more equipment but can push the price into a less compelling range.
• Powertrain: The Q50 uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 300 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. It can be had with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and the stronger Red Sport 400 version raises output to 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring and intervention. There is no hands-free driving capability.
• Infotainment: The Q50 uses two touchscreens, with the upper screen handling navigation and, when equipped, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. It also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the system responds quickly overall.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q50 is EPA rated at 19 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined.

Which 2023 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2023 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 1 trim level: Luxe.

Here's the short version:

The Luxe is the trim to target because it is the one explicitly recommended as the best buy and it still comes very well equipped. It gives you the Q50’s core strengths — style, power, and approachable tech — without pushing you into the much pricier upper end of the lineup. If you want the strongest value in this model year, this is the trim to focus on.

The safety package is standard across the model, so you do not need to move up the trim ladder to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 663 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,380, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $31,448 sits slightly below last year's $32,978.

That softer pricing suggests the Q50 is already giving up some value, which can be good news if you’re buying now but less ideal if you plan to sell soon. A lower current average can also mean future resale gains may be more limited unless the market shifts back in favor of sedans.

For a future seller, the key question is whether the Q50’s style and performance are enough to keep demand steady as the car ages. Its appeal should remain strongest with shoppers who want a sedan that feels more distinctive than the average luxury commuter.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The 2023 INFINITI Q50 earns Good ratings from IIHS in all four crashworthiness tests, and it earns a five-star rating in its NHTSA rollover test.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver assistance includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring and intervention. That is a respectable list, but it is not especially cutting-edge, and there is no hands-free driving capability.

The main caveat is that the Q50 does not earn a Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ designation, so its safety credentials are solid rather than standout.

Should I buy a 2023 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 Q50 stands out for style and performance in a market that increasingly favors crossovers and SUVs.

The bottom line: If you want the Q50’s blend of style, power, and easy-to-use tech, the 2023 model is the right place to start. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to shop carefully for the best deal, since the model’s value proposition is strongest when you can buy near the low end of its price range.
