How much does the 2023 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 5.15% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,293 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Hyundai Tucson earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the smooth driving experience, the modern and feature-rich interior, and the overall value for money. That lines up well with its role as a compact SUV aimed at everyday usability, roomy packaging, and a lot of standard equipment for the money. With 38.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with owners highlighting a smooth, trouble-free driving experience and strong overall value. That kind of response suggests the Tucson can be a sensible long-term ownership choice if you prioritize consistency over excitement. For used buyers, the main risk is less about headline reliability and more about finding one that has been maintained well and kept in good condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report to confirm accident status, title status, and service records. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, infotainment functions, and any comfort or convenience features you care about most. Because this model is valued for its condition and equipment, you should focus on signs of wear, uneven tire wear, and anything that suggests the vehicle was used heavily or repaired poorly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,293 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.15% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,458, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $22,458 sits slightly below last year's $23,677.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the market holds up. If prices remain stable, a well-kept Tucson should remain appealing to used shoppers because it offers a strong mix of value, space, and features. A clean history and strong condition will matter a lot if you want to protect your exit price later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,637, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,458 average.
• It offers a roomy, high-tech cabin with a comfortable ride.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,457, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,458 average.
• It adds a more polished, well-rounded feel with stronger overall balance.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want strong owner satisfaction, good deal availability, and a price that has already softened. If your top priority is spending less, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want a newer-feeling alternative and can stretch your budget, the 2024 is worth a look.
