How much does the 2023 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 3.66% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,519 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Hyundai Tucson earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the smooth driving experience, the modern and feature-rich interior, and the overall value for money. For you, that means this model fits especially well if you want a compact SUV that emphasizes comfort, technology, and everyday usefulness. With 38.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle people feel good about living with over time, especially because it is described as smooth, modern, and value-focused. That kind of response usually suggests a dependable ownership experience rather than a short-term novelty. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the concept of the vehicle and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident history, title status, and service patterns before you commit. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and overall condition, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on its tech and comfort equipment. It is also smart to focus on how the vehicle drives and whether everything feels consistent with the smooth, easygoing character buyers expect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,519 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,838, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $22,838 sits slightly below last year's $23,706.

That price movement suggests the Tucson has softened a bit in the near term, which can make resale timing more important if you plan to sell later. If values continue to track below prior-year levels, you may not see rapid appreciation, but the model’s broad appeal can still help support demand. Strong owner satisfaction can also help keep interest steady when it is time to list your vehicle.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,927, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,838 average.
• It offers more interior room and a redesigned body.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,553, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,838 average.
• It adds a more energetic turbocharged powertrain.

The bottom line:

The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want strong owner satisfaction, good deal availability, and a well-equipped compact SUV at a softened price. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want to spend a bit more for a newer-feeling setup, the 2024 is the natural step up.
