Used 2023 Hyundai Tucson for Sale near Arizona
The Tucson, Hyundai’s compact crossover, carries over mostly unchanged for 2023 after a full redesign for the 2022 model year.
The Hyundai Tucson accommodates up to five passengers across two rows, keeping in mind that the back seat is much better suited to children than adults, and it offers a competitive cargo capacity for the segment. Competitors in the budget-oriented compact SUV space include the Ford Escape, Nissan Rogue, Toyota RAV4, and Honda CR-V.
The 2023 Hyundai Tucson’s exterior is a winner, since it’s right in line with newer and more upscale Hyundai vehicles like the Santa Cruz and the Palisade. It has a sharp front end that neatly integrates grille and lighting, and its side profile puts an elegant twist on the trendy crossover “floating roof” look with a silver D-pillar. Out back, most trims get LED lighting, which helps make the Tucson look more expensive than it actually is. Higher-end trims get visual upgrades across the exterior, such as gloss black pillars, front and rear skid plates, different fascia designs, and roof rails.
Inside, you’ll find standard cloth seats and a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. Higher trim levels get synthetic leather, sport seats, or a combination of leather and cloth upholstery, as well as options including more power seat settings, heated and ventilated front seats, and memory settings. The cabin is trimmed mostly in plastic, with a mix of hard and soft finishes, but Hyundai manages to dress it up enough to avoid a cheap look and feel, and the minimalist aesthetic emphasizes the Tucson’s spaciousness.
The list of standard tech features helps the 2023 Tucson stand out from the crowd and includes an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 4.2-inch information display, HD Radio, a couple of USB ports, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (though some higher trim levels with bigger screens revert to the wired versions of these systems).
Three powertrains are available. The Tucson gets a 2.5-liter direct-injected four-cylinder engine good for 187 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque, which provides adequate performance but doesn’t impress in any way. Fuel economy is about average, at 28 mpg combined for front-wheel-drive (FWD) models and 25 mpg combined with all-wheel drive (AWD). The two Tucson Hybrid variants are more potent, with the regular Tucson Hybrid boasting a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine good for a total of 226 combined horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and fuel economy ratings of 38 mpg combined in the Blue trim and 37 mpg combined across the rest of the lineup. The Tucson Plug-In Hybrid boosts those numbers to 261 hp and 258 lb-ft, plus an all-electric range of about 33 miles and combined fuel economy of 80 miles per gallon of gasoline equivalent (MPGe). An eight-speed automatic transmission drives the gas-powered Tucson, while hybrid models get a six-speed auto.
Every Hyundai Tucson now comes standard with front collision warning with pedestrian, cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection (to assist making left-hand turns at intersections), as well as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and intelligent speed-limit assist. Other standard safety features in the Hyundai SmartSense package include automatic high beams, lane-keep assist, driver-attention monitoring, rear occupant alert, speed limit assist, and leading vehicle departure alert.
Across the lineup, the 2023 Hyundai Tucson continues to present some of the best values in the compact crossover segment.

Love the ride. Pretty smooth. I enjoy the features as well.
Drives like a charm. Interior is near futuristic and a great value for money
I love my Hyundai Tucson N-Line. The only thing I wish it had was a electric seat on the passenger side.
