The 2023 Hyundai Kona EV is a small, nimble crossover with an all-electric powertrain and a refined interior. The Kona EV features EV fast-charging capability, allowing it to go from 10% to 80% charge in just 47 minutes (or 64 minutes with a 50-kw Level 3 charger). Hyundai provides a long list of standard driver-assistance features, including forward-collision avoidance with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. It also comes standard with Safe Exit Assist, Rear Occupant Alert, and driver-attention warning. The 2023 Hyundai Kona Electric starts at $33,550 for the base SE trim.
