That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance records and overall condition, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or a more heavily optioned trim.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis GV70?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because accident-free status is only one part of the picture. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on electronics, interior wear, and how well the cabin features operate. If you’re comparing trims, make sure the equipment on the window sticker matches what’s actually installed.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 2.5T comes well equipped with power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, four USB ports, wireless device charging, a hands-free power liftgate, remote start, remote keyless entry, and adaptive cruise control. The Select Package adds a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof, while the Advance Package adds genuine leather upholstery, ambient cabin lighting, an upgraded stereo, rear sunshades, and a wall-style power outlet. The 3.5T adds genuine leather upholstery, 19-inch alloy wheels, a wall-style power outlet, massaging front seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and performance-inspired touches inside and out.
• Powertrain: The 2.5T uses a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, while the 3.5T uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. Both pair with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, driver attention monitoring, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. On the 2.5T, the Advance Package adds a blind-spot camera system, reverse automatic emergency braking, and a 360-degree parking camera system. On the 3.5T, those features come with the Sport Advance package.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is a 14.5-inch touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. It also includes a Wi-Fi hotspot, four USB ports, wireless device charging, and a nine-speaker stereo system.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder returns 22 mpg city, 28 highway, and 24 combined. The V6 returns 19 mpg city, 24 highway, and 21 combined.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 adds an all-electric version to the lineup, broadening the GV70’s appeal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $31,399, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $34,602 average.
• It emphasizes bold design and a clear choice between four-cylinder and V6 power.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $39,591, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $34,602 average.
• It adds a broader range of powertrain choices, including an all-electric option.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the right move if you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and feature content. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want to spend more for a newer-year alternative, the 2024 is the next step up.
