Is the 2023 Genesis G80 a good car?

The 2023 Genesis G80 stands out as a luxury sedan that pairs upscale design with strong value. You get a deliberately modern cabin, a premium atmosphere, and a focus on visibility rather than flash. Is the 2023 Genesis G80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Genesis G80 is described as a polished, well-equipped luxury sedan with strong standard safety content and a reputation for value. Its stiffer, lighter chassis and premium cabin presentation suggest a vehicle built to feel refined and substantial over time. The main ownership risk for used buyers is making sure the technology and overall condition still feel as clean and intuitive as you expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis G80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics and driver-assistance features. Because the technology is a known consideration, make sure the infotainment system, displays, and controls work the way you want them to. Also pay close attention to overall condition, since a premium sedan should feel well kept inside and out.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Genesis G80?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 285 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,665, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $34,914 sits slightly below last year's $36,100.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also temper near-term resale upside. If you plan to sell later, a lower entry price can help offset some depreciation pressure. Strong condition and clean history should matter a lot when it comes time to list the car again.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $30,609, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $34,914 average.
• It emphasizes a quiet ride and premium cabin materials.

The 2023 is the better all-around pick if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2022 is worth a look because it can save you money while still delivering the core Genesis luxury-sedan experience.
