Used 2023 GMC Yukon XL for Sale near Florida
The GMC Yukon XL is the extended-wheelbase variation of the full-size Yukon SUV, perfect if you’re shopping for a behemoth and you need it to be even bigger. It was last fully redesigned for 2021 and sees minor updates for 2023.
## What’s New for the 2023 GMC Yukon XL
For 2023, GMC updates the Yukon XL with a new Denali Ultimate trim that comes standard with four-wheel drive (4WD) and will get GM’s Super Cruise driver-assistance system and enhanced automatic parking assist systems later in the model year (enhanced parking assist will also be available on the Denali). New 22-inch wheel designs are available, as well as four new exterior colors.
## Design
Think big, and then even bigger. The Yukon XL, even after a recent redesign, is a familiar sight on our roads, even if you more commonly see its corporate relatives, the Chevy Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade, and their previous generations. With the longer rear end on the extended-wheelbase design, these three SUVs are a testament to American excess. With a truck-like front end, slab sides, and a business-oriented rear, the Yukon XL isn’t particularly eye-catching; it’s just there. GMC adds a little visual interest this year with new polished aluminum and machined-finish 22-inch wheels, and the choice of new Titanium Rush Metallic, Frosted Pine Metallic, Volcanic Red Tintcoat, and Sterling Metallic exterior finishes.
## Powertrain
The 2023 Yukon XL is offered with three powertrains: a turbodiesel 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder (277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque), a 5.3-liter V8 (355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque), and a 6.2-liter V8 (420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque), all with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) are available across the lineup. For off-roaders, the Yukon XL features a multi-link independent rear suspension, and a magnetic ride control system and an air suspension system are optional. Other upgrades include a two-speed transfer case and electronic limited-slip differential. The Yukon XL can tow a maximum of 8,300 lbs when properly equipped, and the ProGrade trailering system provides trailer monitoring via sensors and cameras.
## Interior
The GMC Yukon XL’s cabin is a great midway point between the Chevy Tahoe and the Cadillac Escalade, with thoughtful touches such as an upholstered dashboard, elegant wood trim, and an optional power-sliding center console. The AT4 and Denali models are even nicer—but at a steep premium. The Yukon XL seats seven or eight passengers, depending on configuration, and in either case, there’s plenty of room for everyone. Cargo volume is a cavernous 41.5 cubic feet, which opens up to 144.7 cubic feet with the seats folded.
## Technology
The 2023 Yukon XL comes standard with a 10.2-inch touchscreen display, remote start, keyless entry, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, built-in Wi-Fi, satellite radio, HD Radio, and Bluetooth. Though most functions are controlled through the touchscreen, GMC provides redundant physical controls within easy reach for functions like audio and climate. The Yukon XL is available with features like a premium audio system and a rear-row entertainment system.
## Safety
Standard safety features across the lineup include automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, a reversing camera, rear parking sensors, and automatic high-beam headlights. Options include adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, lane-change alert, blind-spot monitoring, trailer blind-spot monitoring, a vibrating Safety Alert Seat, a surround-view camera, a rear camera mirror, rear pedestrian alert, and reverse automatic braking. Later in the model year, the Denali Ultimate will be available with GM’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous highway driving system and an enhanced parking-assist system.
## Pricing
The 2023 GMC Yukon XL is available now, and as of this writing, Yukon XL pricing is generally $2,700 more than the corresponding Yukon trim across the board. The SLT starts at $66,800 and can be upgraded with the $2,530 Luxury package or $4,030 Premium package. The AT4 starts at $73,405 and has numerous available packages, some nearly $6,000. The Denali ($77,005) and Denali Ultimate ($97,255) can both be customized with thousands in options packages.

(8 reviews)Love the vehicle!! Large enough for my family (of 5 with a car seat involved, without sacrificing style! Gas mileage isn’t as bad as imagined either. It’s a win!!
I’ve been looking at the Yukon xl for the past year and finally purchased one. I got the at4 and love it. I’ve driven a tundra for the past 18 years and was ready for something new and the features in the Yukon were very appealing. I still have my tundra as a backup vehicle but it has 283,000 miles on it. The Yukon has so many bells and whistles- I know there will probably be some electrical issues with it (as will be the case with many newer cars). I looked at the Sequoia but I liked the look, features and larger size of the Yukon xl. We have a family of 6 and the extra room is nice when traveling or hauling kids around to their activities. My plan is to keep the Yukon for the next 10 years to get my youngest through college, but will probably switch back to a Toyota pickup when the time comes. It’s been a long time since my wife and I have bought something other than a Toyota. I’m hoping this will last me for the next 150,000 -200,000 miles.
Its a great car, the price is logic compare to the escalade which went till 40k above msrp , so yukon still have sharp agressive fancy shape , plus its much better than the new look ugly suburban
Very nice car, easy to drive and well built
Good quality vehicle and good price for that model year.
