Is the 2023 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2023 GMC Acadia earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2023 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 GMC Acadia?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the vehicle’s condition matches the listing. Pay close attention to signs of prior damage, uneven wear, and whether the features you want are actually present on the specific vehicle. If you’re shopping for a used Acadia, condition matters as much as price because the best examples will hold their appeal longer.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,376 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.04% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,637, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $28,926 sits slightly below last year's $30,142.

That softer pricing can help you buy more efficiently now, but it also suggests the model has given back some value compared with a year ago. If you plan to resell later, a lower entry price can help cushion depreciation, especially if you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $40,559, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $28,926 average.
• It brings a larger redesign with a roomier, more modern cabin.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the better value and a proven ownership experience. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter buy; if you want the newer redesign and can spend more, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
