Used 2023 Dodge Charger for Sale near Nebraska

How much does the 2023 Dodge Charger cost?

Prices are up 13.86% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 3,391 listings available, which suggests you still have meaningful inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Dodge Charger a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 4.5/5 model, and the expert score is 7.83/10. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners repeatedly praise the Charger’s powerful performance, comfortable seating, and spacious interior. They also like its aesthetic and feature set, which helps explain why it remains appealing even with its age and limitations.

The trade-offs are clear: the car’s technology is outdated, fuel economy is poor, and the base engine is underwhelming. That matters most if you want a more modern daily driver rather than a big, characterful sedan with a strong personality.

For buyers who want traditional gas-powered performance and a full-size sedan with attitude, the Charger still fits the brief well. Good and great deals account for 29.8% of listings, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Dodge Charger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels powerful, comfortable, and spacious over time, and those are the kinds of traits that usually support confidence in daily use. The expert impressions also emphasize the Charger’s strong performance and its ability to deliver a satisfying driving experience without feeling fragile or overly complicated.

The car’s old-school design and aging technology mean you should pay close attention to condition, maintenance history, and how well the cabin and electronics have held up. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the concept and more about finding a well-kept example that hasn’t been worn down by hard use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Dodge Charger?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important here because the Charger’s age and performance focus can hide wear that photos won’t show. Pay close attention to the condition of the interior, electronics, tires, brakes, and any signs of heavy use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base car is described as a bit drab on small skinny tires, while V8 versions look much more purposeful. The interior is dated, with a small touchscreen and old-school controls, and even the nicer seats do not feel especially upscale.
• Powertrain: The standard 3.6-liter V6 makes 292 or 300 horsepower depending on trim and pairs with all-wheel drive, while other versions use Hemi V8 engines. The eight-speed automatic is a highlight for smoothness and quick shifts.
• Safety package: Rear parking sensors and a backup camera are standard. Forward collision warning with emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control are optional on SXT, GT, R/T, and Scatpack models and unavailable on Hellcats. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional only on GT, R/T, and Scatpacks.
• Infotainment: The car uses an 8.4-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, voice recognition, and SiriusXM. It does not get the newer Uconnect system, over-the-air updates, or phone-based starting.
• Fuel efficiency: The V6 can deliver up to 30 mpg on the highway, the 5.7-liter V8 is rated for a 25-mpg highway cruise, and Hellcat models are far thirstier at roughly 10 mpg.

Which 2023 Dodge Charger trim should I buy?

The 2023 Dodge Charger is offered in 4 trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, and Scatpack.

Here's the short version:

• SXT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Charger’s basic shape and V6 power without the more expensive performance hardware. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model, but it also comes with the most obvious feature and personality gaps.
• GT: This trim adds a bit more appeal than the SXT while staying on the more affordable side of the lineup. It’s the better-value choice if you want a Charger that feels less bare-bones without jumping into V8 pricing.
• R/T: This is the first trim with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8, so it’s the one to target if you want the classic Charger character and stronger performance. It’s the sweet spot for buyers who care more about engine feel than maximum output.
• Scatpack: This is the performance-focused choice, with the 6.4-liter V8 and the most serious hardware in the lineup. If you want the most satisfying Charger experience and can live with the higher running costs, this is the one to chase.

Safety-package note: forward collision warning with emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control are optional on SXT, GT, R/T, and Scatpack models, while blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional only on GT, R/T, and Scatpacks.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Dodge Charger?

This is a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,391 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 13.86% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 77.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,143, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Dodge Charger’s resale value?

The current average of $34,321 sits slightly above last year's $30,142.

That upward move suggests the Charger is holding buyer interest well, even as it nears the end of its run. For a future seller, that’s encouraging because a model with rising prices usually has a healthier pool of shoppers willing to pay for the right example.

The limited-run, enthusiast-friendly nature of this model year also helps support demand. Well-kept cars with desirable trims and strong presentation should remain easier to move than ordinary used sedans.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Dodge Charger safe?

The 2023 Dodge Charger earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover, and five-star ratings in all other NHTSA tests.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

The Charger’s standard safety equipment is limited to rear parking sensors and a backup camera, and the camera is described as fuzzy. Forward collision warning with emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control are optional on SXT, GT, R/T, and Scatpack models and unavailable on Hellcats. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional only on GT, R/T, and Scatpack trims.

The IIHS results are based on a 2015 Chrysler 300, which makes them less directly reassuring for this car. The report still notes top “Good” ratings in many categories, but the age of the underlying test vehicle is an important caveat.

Should I buy a 2023 Dodge Charger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 13.86% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It’s the final-year Charger, which adds appeal for buyers who want a last-call version with strong performance and a clear sense of occasion.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $28,044, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $34,321 average.
• It offers muscular proportions and traditional rear-drive muscle-car character.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of final-year appeal, current-market inventory, and enthusiast demand, the 2023 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the smarter value play, especially if you can find one in clean condition with the equipment you want.
