Used 2023 Chrysler 300 for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2023 Chrysler 300 cost?

Prices have softened 2.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 468 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chrysler 300 earns a 5/5 user rating, and our experts rate it 5.8/10. The standout strength is Performance at 8/10.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, comfort, style, and powerful performance, and they also describe it as a great value for an American sedan. The overview points to a roomy large sedan with strong straight-line appeal, which fits the way shoppers use this car as a style-forward, comfortable cruiser.

The trade-offs are clear: the platform is aging, the technology feels outdated, and safety ratings are unimpressive. The market still shows some availability, with 26.9% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a car you can count on for a smooth ride, comfort, and strong performance over time, and it also highlights the 300’s durable, satisfying character. The expert review reinforces that dependable, old-school feel by describing the car as a mature, familiar formula with straightforward drivetrains and a long-running design.

The cost-effectiveness notes also suggest decent value for the money, though the V8 versions can be expensive to fuel. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic satisfaction and more about age-related compromises in technology, safety, and running costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chrysler 300?

At 71.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with performance equipment. Focus on condition, maintenance records, and signs of wear in the cabin, suspension, brakes, and tires, since this is a final-year model with a lot of personality but also an aging platform.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Touring and Touring L are V6-only trims, while the 300S adds V6 or V8 availability and the 300C brings the bigger, more powerful V8, rear-wheel drive, and performance upgrades. The base trims are the ones most likely to leave you wanting more if you care about the car’s style and muscle-car character.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes V6 and V8 powertrains, with the 300C using a 6.4-liter Hemi V8, rear-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic. The performance setup emphasizes strong straight-line speed, but it also comes with higher fuel use.
• Safety package: The Safety Tec Plus Group adds forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Most of these features are optional rather than standard on all but the fully loaded 300C.
• Infotainment: The car uses an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through a USB data port, plus navigation, traffic report, voice recognition, and available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot capability. The system is functional, but it feels dated.
• Fuel efficiency: The 300C returns an official 18 mpg in combined driving, and the review notes an average of 17.5 mpg on the evaluation loop.

Which 2023 Chrysler 300 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chrysler 300 is offered in 4 trim levels: Touring, Touring L, 300S, and 300C.

Here's the short version:

• Touring: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Chrysler 300’s styling and roomy sedan formula at the lowest level. It makes sense if you want the look and space without chasing performance extras.
• Touring L: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it keeps the V6 setup while adding a more upscale feel than the base trim. It’s the trim to target if you want the 300 experience without stepping into the pricier performance models.
• 300S: This trim is the bridge to the more enthusiast-oriented side of the lineup, with V6 or V8 availability and a sportier character. Choose it if you want more personality and are willing to pay for it.
• 300C: This is the standout trim if you want the full sendoff: the 6.4-liter Hemi V8, rear-wheel drive, performance tires, Brembo brakes, adaptive damping suspension, and the most dramatic driving experience. It’s the one to buy if you want the most powerful and most collectible version.

The Safety Tec Plus Group is the key safety-package note to keep in mind, since many driver-assistance features are optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully and still find a decent deal.

• Deal availability: 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 468 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.85% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,619, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $28,841 sits slightly below last year's $29,687.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point. If you plan to sell later, the current trend implies you may not see rapid appreciation, but the car’s distinctive character and final-year status can still support demand among the right shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 safe?

The Chrysler 300 gets a Marginal rating in the IIHS moderate-overlap frontal-impact test, and the IIHS says its headlight performance is Poor.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

The available Safety Tec Plus Group includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Lane-keeping assist is described as genuinely useful, but most of these features are optional instead of standard on all but the fully loaded 300C.

The main caveat is that the car’s crash-test performance and safety-tech packaging lag behind newer rivals, so you should not treat it like a modern safety leader.

Should I buy a 2023 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 stands out as the final-year Chrysler 300, and the available 6.4-liter Hemi V8 in the 300C makes it the most dramatic version of the car.

The bottom line: if you want the last and most powerful version of the Chrysler 300, the 2023 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive and mainly want the roomy, stylish sedan formula, a nearby model year may be worth considering if it offers a lower entry price and similar equipment.
