Used 2023 Chrysler 300 for Sale nearPittsburgh, PA

How much does the 2023 Chrysler 300 cost?

Prices have softened 4.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 494 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of options to compare.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chrysler 300 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 5.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 8/10.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, and powerful performance, and many also call out its comfort and style as part of its appeal. The car’s value proposition comes through clearly in the feedback, especially if you want an American sedan with presence.

The trade-offs are just as clear: the technology feels dated, and the safety story is weaker than what you’ll find in many newer sedans. That makes it a better fit if you care more about traditional rear-wheel-drive character, strong road presence, and muscle-car attitude than the latest cabin tech.

With 27.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise centered on comfort, smoothness, and the kind of ownership experience people can count on over time. The expert evaluation also reinforces that sense of durability through the car’s proven, long-running hardware and familiar controls.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is less about novelty and more about age-related wear, especially on a model whose technology and safety systems already feel behind the curve.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chrysler 300?

At 71.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with performance-oriented equipment. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the car’s features and systems still work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Touring and Touring L come only with a V6 engine and your choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while the 300S adds V6 or V8 availability with rear-wheel drive. The 300C stands apart with a bigger and more powerful V8, rear-wheel drive, and performance upgrades, while the base trims are the ones most likely to feel lightest on features.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes V6 and V8 choices, and the 300C’s 6.4-liter Hemi V8 is paired with an eight-speed automatic, Sport mode, paddle shifters, and driving modes that adjust drivetrain response, steering effort, suspension firmness, and exhaust sound.
• Safety package: The Safety Tec Plus Group adds forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Most of these features are optional instead of standard in all but the fully loaded 300C.
• Infotainment: The car uses an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through a USB data port, plus SiriusXM satellite radio, Guardian connected services, navigation, traffic report, voice recognition, and an available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The 300C returns an official EPA rating of 18 mpg in combined driving, and the evaluation loop averaged 17.5 mpg.

Which 2023 Chrysler 300 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chrysler 300 is offered in 4 trim levels: Touring, Touring L, 300S, and 300C.

Here's the short version:

• Touring: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Chrysler 300 experience with V6 power plus the choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. It makes sense if you want the style and size without stretching for performance hardware.
• Touring L: This trim keeps the same basic V6 setup but adds a step up in equipment, making it the better-value choice if you want a more upscale feel without moving into the sportier trims.
• 300S: This is the trim to consider if you want more flexibility, since it can be had with either a V6 or V8 and rear-wheel drive. It suits you best if you want a stronger personality without going all the way to the limited-production model.
• 300C: This is the standout trim if you want the full send-off version, with the 6.4-liter Hemi V8, rear-wheel drive, and performance upgrades including adaptive damping suspension, Brembo brakes, performance tires, forged wheels, and an active exhaust. It is the best-value choice only if you specifically want the most powerful and most distinctive 300.

The Safety Tec Plus Group is the key safety-package note to keep in mind, since many driver-assistance features are optional on lower trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 494 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,615, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $28,818 sits slightly below last year's $30,064.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you’re thinking about future resale. If you buy at the right price now, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

The model’s strong owner satisfaction helps support demand, especially among shoppers who still want a large sedan with style and V8 character. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 safe?

The Chrysler 300 gets a Marginal rating in the IIHS moderate-overlap frontal-impact test, and the IIHS says its headlight performance is Poor.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

The Safety Tec Plus Group adds forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Most of those features are optional rather than standard on all but the fully loaded 300C.

That means you should pay close attention to whether a used example has the safety package you want, because the car’s age and mixed crash-test performance make equipment content especially important.

Should I buy a 2023 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 stands out for its available 6.4-liter Hemi V8, limited-production 300C trim, and final-year sendoff character.

The bottom line: If you want the last and most distinctive version of the Chrysler 300, the 2023 is the one to target, especially if you value the V8-powered 300C and can find a clean example at a good price. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still deliver the same basic large-sedan formula with less urgency around final-year desirability.
