Used 2023 Chrysler 300 for Sale nearMadison, WI

How much does the 2023 Chrysler 300 cost?

Prices have softened 4.74% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 484 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chrysler 300 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 5.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 8/10.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, and powerful performance, and many also value its comfort and style. The overview points you toward a large sedan with real muscle-car attitude, strong presence, and traditional rear-wheel-drive character. On the downside, the expert review calls out outdated technology and unimpressive safety, and the car’s age shows in its tech and fuel economy.

The model’s market position also fits shoppers who want style and strong performance in a traditional sedan rather than the latest features. Good and great deals account for 27.3% of listings, so you can still find some attractive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a car that feels smooth, comfortable, and dependable enough to earn strong loyalty from buyers. It also suggests the 300 has the kind of long-term appeal that makes people feel confident keeping it for years. The expert review reinforces that sense of proven hardware by describing the car as built around familiar, established components rather than constant reinvention.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about mechanical novelty and more about age-related wear, especially if you want a car that still feels current in daily use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chrysler 300?

At 71.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. After that, prioritize a close inspection of body panels, paint consistency, wheel condition, and any signs of uneven wear that could point to past collision repairs or neglected maintenance. Because this model’s safety features are limited unless equipped with the right package, it also makes sense to verify exactly which driver-assistance items are present on the car you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Touring and Touring L are V6-only trims with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while the 300S adds V6 or V8 availability with rear-wheel drive. The 300C is the limited-production V8 model with rear-wheel drive, plus wheel, tire, suspension, and braking upgrades, and it also gets a blacked-out appearance with large 20-inch wheels wrapped in performance tires.
• Powertrain: The 300C uses a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It also includes Sport mode, paddle shifters, driving modes, and an active exhaust system.
• Safety package: The Safety Tec Plus Group adds forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Most of these features are optional instead of standard in all but the fully loaded 300C.
• Infotainment: The car uses an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through a USB data port, plus SiriusXM satellite radio, Guardian connected services, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation, traffic report, and voice recognition.
• Fuel efficiency: The 300C returns an official EPA rating of 18 mpg in combined driving, and the evaluation loop averaged 17.5 mpg.

Which 2023 Chrysler 300 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chrysler 300 is offered in 4 trim levels: Touring, Touring L, 300S, and 300C.

Here's the short version:

• Touring: This is the entry point if you want the Chrysler 300’s size, style, and rear-drive-or-AWD layout without stepping up to the more expensive performance trims. It makes the most sense if you want the basic formula and are focused on value.
• Touring L: This trim is the better pick if you want a more upscale feel than the Touring while staying with the V6 setup. It should suit you if comfort and everyday livability matter more than extra power.
• 300S: This is the best-value choice if you want more personality and flexibility, since it can be had with either the V6 or V8 and keeps the rear-wheel-drive layout. It’s the trim to consider if you want a stronger mix of style, performance, and equipment.
• 300C: This is the one to buy if you want the full send: the limited-production V8, the performance hardware upgrades, and the most distinctive final-year version of the car. It suits you best if you care most about power and exclusivity.

The Safety Tec Plus Group is the key safety-package note to watch for, since many driver-assistance features are optional rather than standard on most trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chrysler 300?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, but the best listings can still move quickly.

• Deal availability: 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 484 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.74% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,619, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $28,968 sits slightly below last year's $30,410.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may temper short-term resale upside if you plan to sell soon. The year-round range also shows the model has settled into a fairly defined pricing band, so condition and equipment will matter a lot when it comes time to resell. Stronger examples with desirable trims and clean histories should hold up better than higher-mileage or accident-affected cars.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 safe?

The Chrysler 300 gets a Marginal rating in the IIHS moderate-overlap frontal-impact test, and the IIHS says its headlight performance is Poor.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

The Safety Tec Plus Group adds forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Lane-keeping assist is described as genuinely useful rather than irritating, but most of these features are optional instead of standard in all but the fully loaded 300C. The adaptive cruise control can bring the car to a full stop, but it cannot resume speed on its own when traffic starts moving again.

Should I buy a 2023 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 stands out for its available 6.4-liter Hemi V8, limited-production 300C trim, and final-year status.

The bottom line: If you want the last and most distinctive version of the Chrysler 300, the 2023 is the one to target, especially if you value the V8-powered 300C and can find a clean example at a fair price. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still deliver the same basic big-sedan appeal, but the 2023 gives you the final-year cachet and the most memorable performance setup.
