Used 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV for Sale nearPortland, OR

How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

With 390 listings available, you have a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV earns a 4.71/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 8/10.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, impressive battery range, and excellent value for money. They also like the easy-to-use tech and spacious interior, which makes it a practical fit for families and everyday commuting. The main trade-offs are that some owners want quicker charging speeds and improved range, and a few note that the feature set can feel overwhelming at first.

That lines up with the overview: you’re looking at an affordable EV with crossover-like utility and strong everyday usability, not a luxury-focused or performance-first model. The market also shows 36.4% good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with owners repeatedly highlighting comfort, value, and battery range as reasons they feel good about the car over time. The expert evaluation also describes the Bolt EUV as a practical, easy-to-live-with EV with smooth acceleration and a composed driving experience, which supports the idea that it should be straightforward to own day to day.

Chevrolet also includes a dual-charge cord with 120-volt and 240-volt capability, which helps make home charging more convenient. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the battery and charging system have been cared for properly, especially given the model’s history and the importance of verifying repair completion and battery condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on an EV where battery condition and charging behavior matter. Focus on overall condition, charging equipment, and whether the car has been used mostly for home charging or frequent DC fast charging. If possible, ask for documentation that shows how the car has been maintained and whether any battery-related work has been completed.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Redline Edition appearance package adds black exterior badging, 17-inch gloss-black wheels, red trim, and black leather upholstery with red stitching. The cabin is described as open and clean, with a few physical controls for climate and audio volume, but the touchscreen’s glossy surface can show fingerprints easily.
• Powertrain: The Bolt EUV uses a front-wheel-drive electric setup with 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. It feels lively around town, delivers smooth acceleration, and reaches 0-60 mph in 6.8 seconds.
• Safety package: The Chevy Safety Assist Package is standard and includes front pedestrian braking, forward collision alerts, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warnings, automatic high beams, and following distance indicators. Lower trims can add a Driver Confidence Package with rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, lane-change alerts, and rear cross-traffic alerts.
• Infotainment: The standard 10.2-inch touchscreen supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, and the system can connect to the MyChevrolet smartphone app.
• Range & charging: The battery pack is 65 kWh, EPA range is 247 miles, and DC fast charging can recover up to 95 miles of range in 30 minutes. It also comes with an 11.5-kW onboard charger and a dual-charge cord for home charging.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how the car has typically been charged, and review how much battery warranty coverage remains. A car that has mostly seen home charging and has clear service records is generally easier to evaluate than one with heavy fast-charging use and incomplete documentation.

Which 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV is offered in 2 trim levels: LT and Premier.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the value-focused choice if you want the Bolt EUV’s core strengths without paying for the higher-end driver-assistance extras. It still gives you the standard tech and safety foundation, including wireless smartphone integration and Chevy Safety Assist.
• Premier: This is the trim to target if you want the Bolt EUV’s most compelling feature set. It adds adaptive cruise, a surround-view camera system, and Super Cruise, making it the best-value pick for buyers who want the most advanced convenience and driver-assistance tech.

The safety-package trim note is simple: lower trims can add the Driver Confidence Package, while Premier gets the most advanced available safety and driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 390 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,691, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV's resale value?

The current average of $21,214 sits slightly above last year's $21,008.

That small increase suggests the Bolt EUV has held its value reasonably well, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing also points to steady demand rather than a market that is weakening quickly. Because the model is still viewed as a strong value in the used-EV space, well-kept examples should remain appealing to budget-conscious shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV safe?

The 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV hasn’t been tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) yet.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The Chevy Safety Assist Package comes standard and includes front pedestrian braking, forward collision alerts, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warnings, automatic high beams, and following distance indicators. Lower trims can add rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, lane-change alerts, and rear cross-traffic alerts through the Driver Confidence Package. Premier adds adaptive cruise, a surround-view camera system, and Super Cruise, which is the model’s standout driver-assistance feature.

One caveat to keep in mind is that the Bolt EUV’s advanced hands-free system still requires you to stay alert and take over when needed.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Chevrolet significantly lowered prices for 2023, making this one of the most affordable new EVs on sale.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,983, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $21,214 average.
• It was the first non-Cadillac model with Super Cruise, giving it a distinctive place in Chevrolet’s EV lineup.

The bottom line: choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market value story and a well-equipped used EV with broad appeal. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is worth a look, especially if you find a clean example with the features you want.
