Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing can hide prior damage, title issues, or inconsistent service records. Since this model is built around luxury and technology, you’ll want to focus on how well everything works, not just how it looks.

The current average of $65,834 sits slightly below last year's $73,302.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the vehicle more attractive to you as a buyer but may also mean a softer starting point if you plan to resell later. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that today’s lower entry price can help support demand, especially if the vehicle is well maintained and equipped with desirable features. Strong condition and a clean history matter even more when the market has already adjusted downward.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Cadillac Escalade ESV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.19% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of value and availability, the 2023 is the primary year to target because pricing has eased and there are enough listings to shop carefully. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on the lower end of the range and prioritize clean-history examples with the features you actually want.
