General Motors is known for its excellent chassis tuning and platform development, which greatly benefits Cadillac’s CT4. The 2023 CT4 is too new to have full crash-test results, and it has never been tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). It has also not been scored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Cadillac equips a generous list of standard advanced driver aids, including automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warnings, forward pedestrian braking, rear-parking assist, rear-seat reminders, a safety alert seat, and a teen driver mode. The safety alert seat system uses vibrations on both sides of the front seat to alert the driver of oncoming traffic and other safety issues.
