Is the 2023 Buick Envision a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2023 Envision stands out as a compact SUV that aims for a more upscale feel than mainstream rivals without fully moving into luxury-brand territory. Its appeal centers on Buick’s QuietTuning refinement, sound isolation, stylish interior design, and a comfortable ride, along with a broad spread of standard and available equipment.

For you, that means the Envision makes the most sense if you value comfort, style, and features more than badge prestige. It also sits above the Encore and Envista GX in Buick’s lineup, while staying below the Enclave, which helps define its role as a polished but still reasonably priced compact SUV.

36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2023 Envision’s appeal is built around a comfortable ride, generous standard equipment, and a refined cabin that helps it feel more polished than many mainstream rivals. It also benefits from Buick’s long-running focus on quietness and everyday comfort, which are traits that tend to matter over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s upscale presentation and more about making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been maintained well and shows no signs of prior damage or neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Buick Envision?

Should I buy a 2023 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a compact SUV with a polished cabin, a comfortable ride, and a stable used-car market, the 2023 Envision is the primary year to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the features and condition you find on this one.
