Should I buy a 2022 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,346, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,479 average.
• It starts the redesigned generation with a stylish design and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced buy, the 2022 is the stronger default because it combines a softer market, solid inventory, and a well-liked ownership experience. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the better value play, especially if you find one in excellent condition with the features you want.
