Used 2023 BMW iX for Sale nearNashville, TN

How much does the 2023 BMW iX cost?

Prices have softened 1.74% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,054 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 BMW iX a good car?

Generally — the 2023 BMW iX earns a 4.33/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

The iX’s appeal centers on its premium electric-SUV identity, with a spacious cabin, premium interior materials, and strong electric performance. The 2023 update adds the M60 variant, which gives you a sharper performance edge without changing the iX’s core luxury focus.

The main trade-offs are its potentially polarizing design and its steep price, especially for the M60. If you want a premium EV that emphasizes luxury, space, and speed over conventional styling or value, it fits that use case well.

42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 BMW iX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The iX is positioned as a premium electric SUV with a strong emphasis on refinement, and the expert notes point to a well-executed package rather than a complicated one. Its electric powertrain and high-voltage battery architecture are central to the ownership experience, and BMW backs the battery with an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty.

BMW also includes three years or 36,000 miles of no-cost scheduled maintenance through Ultimate Care, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is making sure the battery and charging system have been cared for properly, since those are the most important wear points on an EV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 BMW iX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, confirm the car’s charging habits, and prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery, tires, brakes, and suspension. On a used EV like this, condition matters as much as mileage, especially if the vehicle has seen frequent fast charging or hard use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The xDrive50 gives you the core luxury-EV experience, while the M60 adds the performance-focused hardware and output that make this year stand out. The M60 is the one to target if you want the strongest acceleration and the most complete performance package.
• Powertrain: The xDrive50 uses dual electric motors with all-wheel drive and 516 horsepower, while the M60 also uses dual motors and the same battery pack but raises output to 610 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque with launch control activated.
• Safety package: Every iX includes BMW’s Active Driving Assistant, with forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-departure warning, traffic-sign recognition, active park distance control, automatic collision notification, automatic high-beam headlights, a rearview camera, and a safe-exit system. The Driver’s Assistance Pro package adds Active Driving Assistant Pro and Parking Assistant Professional, including lane-keeping assistance and adaptive cruise control.
• Infotainment: You get a 14.9-inch curved touchscreen, iDrive 8, wireless-style flexibility through touchscreen, rotary dial, voice control, and gesture control, plus a standard 12-speaker audio system. The system also supports over-the-air-style software updates through BMW’s latest infotainment architecture.
• Range & charging: BMW says the xDrive50 can travel up to 324 miles on a full charge and recover up to 90 miles in 10 minutes on a DC fast charger. The M60 can go up to 280 miles on a single charge and recover 90 miles in 10 minutes at a fast charger. The battery pack is 111.5 kWh, and BMW says a full charge on a 240-volt station takes 12 hours for the M60.
• Battery health: Ask for battery state-of-health documentation if available, review charging history, and make sure the car has been used in a balanced way between home charging and DC fast charging. You should also confirm how much of the eight-year/100,000-mile battery warranty remains.

Which 2023 BMW iX trim should I buy?

The 2023 BMW iX is offered in 2 trim levels: xDrive50, M60.

Here's the short version:

• xDrive50: This is the better-value choice if you want the iX’s core strengths: strong range, dual-motor all-wheel drive, a premium cabin, and the full standard safety suite. It gives you the essential iX experience without paying for the M60’s extra performance premium.
• M60: Choose this if you want the quickest and most powerful version, along with the more aggressive performance character that defines this model year. It’s the right pick if acceleration matters most and you’re comfortable paying for it.

BMW’s standard Active Driving Assistant is included on every trim, while Driver’s Assistance Pro is an optional upgrade.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.74% compared with last year.

That decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, the current pricing trend implies you may not see rapid appreciation, but you also may benefit from a more stable entry point if you buy near the lower end of the range.

The iX’s premium positioning and strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it’s time to sell. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 BMW iX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 adds the M60, bringing a much more powerful performance option to the lineup.

Consider the 2022 if:

• It launched the iX as BMW’s first all-electric SUV for North America with a comfort-focused, spacious, and luxurious character.

The bottom line: If you want the broader trim choice and the added performance of the M60, the 2023 is the better target. If your priority is a more relaxed, comfort-first electric SUV and you’re shopping carefully on price, the 2022 remains a sensible alternative.
