Used 2023 BMW i7 for Sale nearLas Vegas, NV

Is the 2023 BMW i7 a good car?

The 2023 BMW i7 earns a 7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It’s a flagship electric sedan that blends traditional BMW luxury-sedan character with EV appeal, and the data points to strong handling, comfort, and impressive technology. That makes it a good fit if you want a high-end electric sedan that still feels like a conventional luxury car rather than a ground-up EV.

The trade-offs are clear: the design may be polarizing, cargo space is limited, and advanced safety features are not standard. Even so, the i7’s combination of road manners and convenience features gives it broad appeal for shoppers prioritizing refinement over maximum practicality.

The market signal is moderate, with 38.5% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2023 BMW i7 reliable?

The 2023 BMW i7 is presented as a new electric take on BMW’s flagship sedan, with the same four-year, 50,000-mile new-vehicle warranty and eight-year, 100,000-mile battery warranty as other BMW EVs. Its EV hardware is paired with an 11-kilowatt onboard charger, and BMW includes three years of fast charging on the Electrify America network.

The performance data also suggests a well-developed package: the dual-motor AWD setup is tuned for strong acceleration, and BMW layers in rear-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, active roll stabilization, and road preview suspension control to help the car stay composed. That points to a sophisticated system rather than a bare-bones electric conversion.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is the usual EV mix of charging convenience, battery condition, and expensive flagship-level complexity.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 BMW i7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a flagship EV with advanced electronics and luxury features. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, and whether the car’s equipment matches what you expect from a high-spec sedan.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The i7 shares its sheetmetal with the gasoline 7 Series and leans into a traditional flagship-luxury look, but the base setup does not include the optional convenience and safety upgrades. The design is distinctive, and the interior can be equipped with features like glass controls, carbon-fiber trim for the front headrests, and a cashmere wool/Merino leather combination.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system rated at 536 horsepower and 549 pound-feet of torque. BMW quotes a 0-60 mph time of 4.9 seconds, and the car is tuned for strong straight-line performance with a smooth, stable ride.
• Safety package: The standard driver-assist equipment includes forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking. The Driving Assistance Professional Package adds Highway Assistant with hands-free driving on divided highways at speeds up to 80 mph, plus a driver-facing camera. Parking Assistant Professional is also optional and adds remote parking capability and Reversing Assistant.
• Infotainment: The BMW Curved Display combines a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 14.9-inch touchscreen. You also get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 5G with a car-specific eSIM, and over-the-air software updates.
• Range & charging: EPA range tops out at 318 miles with 19-inch wheels, and the usable charging setup includes an 11-kilowatt AC onboard charger that can refill the battery in 10.5 hours on a 240-volt Level 2 source. DC fast charging peaks at up to 195 kW, with a 10% to 80% charge in an estimated 34 minutes.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how the car has been charged, and look for a history of mostly home charging rather than repeated DC fast charging. You should also verify how much of the battery warranty remains and make sure charging performance feels consistent during a test drive.

Which 2023 BMW i7 trim should I buy?

The 2023 BMW i7 is offered in 1 trim level: xDrive60.

Here's the short version:

The xDrive60 is the only choice, so your decision is really about whether you want the i7’s flagship-luxury feel, strong dual-motor performance, and high-end tech in a single package. It’s the right pick if you want the full i7 experience without having to compare trims, and it suits buyers who value comfort, technology, and a traditional luxury-sedan character more than maximum practicality.

The safety content notes that advanced driver-assistance features are extra-cost options, so you should budget for packages if hands-free highway driving or enhanced parking help matters to you.

Should I buy a 2023 BMW i7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It introduces BMW’s all-electric flagship sedan formula while still delivering strong handling, comfort, and standout technology.

The bottom line: The 2023 i7 makes sense if you want the first model-year version of BMW’s electric flagship and value its blend of luxury, tech, and traditional sedan character. If you’re price-sensitive, it’s worth comparing nearby model years and shopping the market closely, since the i7’s appeal depends heavily on finding the right combination of condition, equipment, and price.
