Powertrain
There are two powertrains offered in the 2023 BMW X6. The xDrive40i comes with a twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. It makes 335 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque. The M50i features a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 that puts out 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. Both engines route power through an eight-speed automatic transmission to xDrive AWD.
The M50i also includes an adaptive sport suspension, M Sport exhaust, and M Sport brakes. The M50i is available with a Dynamic Handling Package that adds rear-wheel steering, a lowered suspension, and active roll stabilization.
The xDrive40i returns fuel economy of 21 mpg city, 25 highway, and 23 combined. The M40i returns fuel economy of 16 mpg city, 22 highway, and 18 combined. The X6 requires premium fuel.
Interior
The 2023 X6 comes standard with synthetic leather upholstery, ambient cabin lighting, power-adjustable front seats, driver’s seat memory, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, a panoramic moonroof, and remote keyless entry.
