FAQs
The 2023 Audi TTS is a dynamic and expressive sports car, combining an energetic power plant, a nimble chassis, and seamlessly integrated technology. 2023 marks the final model year of the TTS, as it is expected to be replaced by a sport electric vehicle. Though the TT on which it is based dates back to 1998, the TTS was introduced for the 2008 model year, and it will mark the end of a run for a sporty coupe that, while it may not have always been top-of-mind, was a more discerning choice for carving up back roads. The TTS is offered in a coupe body style with seating for four and 12 cubic feet of cargo space.
The Audi TTS is available in a single trim and features 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in summer tires, chrome quad exhaust tips, LED headlights, and an electronically deploying rear spoiler. Inside, the TTS comes with standard leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED ambient interior lighting, heated front seats, and a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system.
Whereas most new Audi models feature large center-console infotainment systems and some even have dual-screen setups, the TTS is refreshingly minimalist. The MMI infotainment system, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, is baked into the fully digital instrument panel. Audi calls this the Virtual Cockpit, and it can even display the navigation screen across the entire instrument panel.
The 2023 Audi TTS comes equipped with a horizontally mounted 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine which makes 288 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent through a seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD). The transmission features a manual tap-shift function on the shifter, as well as steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The TTS can go from zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, and it can reach a top speed of 155 mph.
The TTS features Audi Drive Select with Auto, Comfort, Dynamic (aka Sport), and Individual drive modes. It allows the driver to select unique tuning for the throttle response, shift mapping, and steering feel, as well as the magnetic damping suspension system. The TTS also features ventilated disc brakes with red calipers and painted “S” badging.
The TTS returns an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 23 mpg city, 31 highway, and 26 combined. The Audi TTS requires premium fuel.
Though it does incorporate modern in-cabin technology, the 2023 TTS does not keep up when it comes to modern driver-assistance features. The most you’ll find in the soon-to-be-gone sports car is a backup camera, blind-spot monitoring, and front-and-rear parking sensors.
Base MSRP for the 2023 Audi TTS is $60,900 in its lone trim offering. The Audi TTS is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile powertrain warranty.
