Is the 2023 Audi Q8 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2023 Audi Q8. It stands out as Audi’s flagship SUV, blending a more exclusive, coupe-like shape with the upscale feel and strong road manners you’d expect from a premium German SUV. It is positioned as the sportier and more luxurious choice versus the Q7, with a style-first mission that favors performance and refinement over maximum family utility. With 42.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Audi Q8 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Q8’s appeal comes from its rich interior materials, satisfying powertrain, and excellent build quality. It also comes with standard quattro all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission, which supports a polished ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that its upscale, technology-heavy setup can be more expensive to live with if you need repairs or maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi Q8?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the vehicle’s condition matches the listing. Pay close attention to signs of prior damage, tire and wheel wear, and the operation of the touchscreen-heavy interior features. Because this model is positioned as a premium SUV, condition matters a lot when you’re comparing examples at similar prices.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi Q8?

Yes — this looks like a buyer’s market if you’re shopping carefully.

• Deal availability: 42.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 676 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,122, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi Q8's resale value?

The current average of $43,122 sits slightly below last year's $51,811.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who bought when prices were higher. The Q8’s premium positioning and strong demand for well-kept examples can help support future value if you maintain it carefully.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 42.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Q8 makes the most sense if you want the current-year balance of price, inventory, and strong owner satisfaction. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs any differences in market availability or condition.

How does the 2023 Audi Q8 compare to the 2023 BMW X6?

The 2023 Audi Q8 gives you a lower average used price, more listings, a higher share of good or great deals, and a slightly better accident-free share than the 2023 BMW X6. If you want more inventory and a better chance at value, the Q8 has the edge; if you’re comparing based on new-car pricing alone, the X6 started slightly lower.
